Been cool in Perth last couple of weeks, although it will heat up this week. Pitch might be a bit greener than usual. No rain in forecast.
Aus sub 1.4 on here in a still thin market. Can't see any result except an Aus win, but too short currently for me. I'll just trade the draw for now, until I hear about the pitch.
Think regardless, worth a tickle lay. Regardless, I think NZ would come out with a win in mind. That and wickets would shoot the draw price out before they shut up shop, should that happen.

Yeah, but you are of course right. Just that I am not somebody that likes short odds for backing. Might be big odds if that were true for a pure bet. I am treading carefully for a while. Still enough batting to tie up plenty of overs should that be the goal. All good suggesting that NZ would shut up shop leading to a draw, but no reason Aus can't do that too.
New ball doubt is taken given what the ball is doing at the moment.

4.6 RRR if declare now. 4 overs, chase 285, 5.28 an over.
I suspect we see 6 overs, target 300, leaving 301 to chase in 52 overs, at 5.788 runs an over.
Think McCullum would need to open to get a big move on the draw. The others are a little more sensible. BM would need to open to set the theme of the chase, otherwise probably a set up to get closer to attempt a chase down the track.
We have seen the right armers targetting the cracks, and getting decent results, but ultimately too wide to need to play. The left armers could well come around the wicket giving them a much better angle at the cracks, and could be a minefield.
Not convinced this will be a draw, but obviously most likely result.

Wake me up at some point. I do have a little interest in Aus but I need the dec. Whats the point of turning up if you don't want the win??????. Boring boring Aus. How times have changed.

Dumped out of my draw lay. Although may get back in. Rain should be for about 15 minutes, will have a bit in it. May coincide with the teabreak though with any luck. Don't want to get caught on a draw lay when it rains, although surely it is already factored in.
NZ haven't had a draw in 12 months. 2 in 18 months. I believe they will come out with intent. May be able to at least sneak a 1.1 to 1.25 lay in .

I'm of the opinion no have a better chance of winning this than Australia. I too think they will show intent in this chase. But if they get to 4-5 down they may shut down shop

Already starting to be beyond them. Going to have to write this one off soon. Near end the game where I started. As per usual. Need to just walk the last day.

Went for a frivolous £20 on the NZ win hoping another couple of big overs might bring them in from 80s but there's not been even an attempted run scoring stroke since. Oh well, I did say myself it wasn't on.
