England played 2 Tests here in 2012, and Anderson and Broad took most of the Eng 1st Innings wickets, then Swann and Panesar took the 2nd innings wickets in the second match. Pakistan won both matches.
Cook should make the match closer, but a result seems likely IMO. With Shah back, form says Pak win, although their confidence would have been shaken by the last match.
A draw lay for me.

i take it you're referring to a n other..pecker..but a lot less liquidity & volatility on certain mkts or do you find it ok for your m.o.?
England can't win and Pak should, and I expect will, look to make another 150. No reason for them to give England even a sniff. Then we will see if Shah is as good as his figures say he is.
As I don't bet in-play, unless I'm watching the match, I don't pay much attention to what happens in play. I make my decisions pre-play and there is nothing more I can do till stumps. And was focused on the SL/WI match yesterday.

Hopefully Pakistan will speed up and declare with a lead of 500 and 4.5 sessions to bowl out England. As many of the England team are now seriously batting for their places I expect staunch resistance although doubt they'll accumulate 250. Pakistan at 1.2 or better a great bat.
Draw shortening very quickly,i'm guessing this is a classic last session movement in the market.

with the spinners from both ends demands tremendous concentration & discipline in hot conditions..far from easy
i was surprised to see Pak at 1.2
suppose if there's some continued resistance early 2moro their price will drift but with the onset of wkts which surely must come it will drop like a stone

You need to understand the tactics and strategy to enjoy Test cricket. I've been watching the RWC and tbh found it all rather dull, mostly because I don't really understand the game, despite being forced to play it as a kid.
don't know if England middle order and tail have the capability of hanging around, they seem to be more aggressive batsman. Pakistan should win from here.
Would be good if you thought England could survive but unfortunately they will probably be finished by lunchtime I would get rid of bell for a start
Jucel69 I was not just referring to the cricket when you compare the 2 matches the joy of the contest and the joy of the crowd admiring the sa batsmen it's sad to see an empty stadium devoid of atmosphere. At least they might make it to lunchtime and the school girls they have brought in seem to be having a good time
Who will get MOM?, I'm on Younis but fear 1st innings runs will be deemed more important, 4 catches may have helped though

The Rugby World Cup has been fantastic, the two best sides actually made it to the final but the only downside has been that both teams are Antipodean! I thought you would have enjoyed it more.
England going out was not as predictable as the England Cricket Team being knocked out of the Cricket World Cup but the poor performances were predicted. We knew we didn't have our best players on the pitch, flair was suppressed and the selection and tactics proved our undoing.
The RWC was set alight by Japan beating the mighty Springboks. The cricket equivalent of say the great Australian team losing a Test Match not to Bangladesh but Canada ( no offence intended to either Bingo's or Moose Fcukers ).
The sight of grown Japanese men and women crying in the stands even before the match had ended was a sight to behold. Fiji and particularly Argentina continued the underdog fight except that Argentina can no longer be considered minnows or underdogs. They were magnificent and won many new fans and a place among the elite...teams like England!.
I am sorry for anybody that doesn't understand or enjoy Test Cricket. That's all I have to say about that.

England somehow need to block out 30 overs here with only 2 wickets in hand
how many overs will they get in? Anyone know what time play finished yesterday? does light have a bearing? Will they bowl 11 overs an hour
I said last match that England set about their chase like a one day match rather than at T20 pace. I think they only needed something like 24 before bad light ended things. They should have set about the chase more robustly. I said that at the time not in hindsight. Poor leadership in my view from both captain and management. You should always take your shot at glory. Those Japanese Rugby players could have taken the draw but went for the win. They are immortal now.

Bell needs to go. Shouldn't have given his wicket at the critical time yesterday before end of play. Runs mean nothing, Bell always loses his wicket at a critical game changing point.
I don't know what he was thinking at the end either! played so well up till then. Exciting last day. Wahab won the match for me turning the game with that spell on day 3 morning.
i'm not sure bell gave his wicket away yesterday. he got a feather on his glove trying to leave.

Bell and Butler need replacing and i don't think Bairstow will make it at this level but deserves a chance to try. They should have tried Hales out. The Moen experiment was stupid. Everyone on here knew it would not be successful. He would have been better coming in at 7 than Butler.

Pakistan started the day 1.22, did get as low as 1.02, before Wood was out it was around 1.77 from my betting graphs.
