Great delivery from Prasad but Pujara could have gone forward to it and that would have smothered it. Modern batsmen do not get forward anymore! Big bats and true pitches! grrr!

You da Man!

By:
got 500 green SL!
How low does it go? 4's...3's? |
By:
I didn't expect it though, it was just the only scenario that made the draw lengthen
By:
could shoot back up to 10s with any sort of stand

By:
Incoming will set the exchange alight!
lay at odds on, still day 3! |
By:
What an amazing turn of events
By:
layed all my India green
Gekko is right Ridgely and Michael are wrong Greed is good Caution doesn't always pay! |
By:
trouble is now I have to keep SL onside! I was going to lay them with the green I had on them!
By:
Draw looks the least likely now, crazy stuff
By:
and now the rain is coming. You couldn't make this sh1t up

By:
fortunes have been won and lost today

By:
and dont forget the pitch is spinning! 2 days to go!

I think India have got enough already

200 will be a tricky chase

wonderful subcontinent test match wicket!

I can't see the incredibly talented one surviving here

Draw price suggests a monsoon.
By:
the thing about a small chase is that a small cameo from the likes of Chandimal can apply huge pressure. Look at how Ishant went for just one over after bowling so magnificently to get rif of Herath!
By:
that was talented from the talented one though to be fair....incoming!
By:
this is so exciting!
morning Injera, where do you think this is going? |
By:
yahoo RAIN!
By:
Morning sir! You've done well!! Just logged on to see the carnage. No pics.
Layed SL Day one and have stayed with that. Don't tend to trade unless I have pics. Draw lay for a biggie is very tempting. |
By:
Lay SL anyone?

Draw plunge of epic proportions. 2 days left

bucketing down heavy, probably no more play from current pictures

Presumably India are still favourites
I need to work through some possible and probable scenarios how to make use of big green on SL and draw. How to get back some green on India ![]() |
By:
surely SL must come in? with a wicket or two they smash the exchange again but if they don't get an early wicket they are almost out of the game. Can't see india being bowled out for less than 100. That leaves SL to get in excess of 200. India get 150 and a chase of 261 is formidable. The pitch will spin. Will it rain? can't tell on that one.
decisions decisions! |

Hi Guys,
Hope you are all enjoying this topsy turvey Test match. Almost seems that the correct course of action was to lay the leader at the start of each day (and anything with the temerity to go odds on).Fortunes won and lost I think. Who are Ridgely and Michael, Whispering Death, and why are they wrong? Apologies in advance for my ignorance. |

Wham Baby!
Andrew Ridgely and George Michael! A married man? you're out of your head Sleepless nights, on an H.P. bed A daddy by the time you're twenty-one If your happy with a nappy then you're in for fun. But you're here And you're there Well there's guys like you just everywhere Looking back on the good old days? Well this young gun says CAUTION PAYS! Young Guns, Having some fun Crazy ladies keep 'em on the run. Wise guys realize there's danger in emotional ties. See me, single and free No tears, no fears, what I want to be. One, two, take a look at you Death by matrimony! How old are you Foinavon? It was certainly a day for being bold, caution to the wind! In the early days of a Test Match it is often worth taking a longs odds punt I got Lanka at 36! screwed up on India for lack of boldness and average 4.01 when I could have 5's 6' and maybe close to 7's on the reverse I layed the lot at odds on. I got the draw average at 2.26 which was ok, again not bold but a good shout and again I layed plenty at odds on. The only problem I have is no significant green on India which is the likely call. I am confused.com to buy it back now and sit on it or more liekly wait till start of play and beyonf because there may well be blood which allows me to lay back SL too, which, is the most unlikely result but I do not want to be caught with ma troosers doon on that one. Remember the first Test! All in all a good position to be in but timing crucial as the end game approaches. Gordon Gekko was the main protagonist in Wall Street who coined the phrase "greed is good". You probably don't remember Ivan Boesky on whom his character was based. Anyway I digress. Wham Young Guns https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doZ6wOJHu_E Good days Foinavon. The older we get the better we were! "Young Guns" Hey sucker (What the hell's got into you?) Hey sucker (Now there's nothing you can do) Well I hadn't seen your face around town awhile, So I greeted you, with a knowing smile, When I saw that girl upon your arm, I knew she won your heart with a fatal charm. I said "Soul Boy, let's hit the town!" I said "Soul Boy, what's with the frown?" But in return, all you could say was "Hi George, meet my fiancee" Young Guns, Having some fun Crazy ladies keep 'em on the run. Wise guys realize there's danger in emotional ties. See me, single and free No tears, no fears, what I want to be. One, two, take a look at you Death by matrimony! Hey sucker, (What the hell's got into you?) Hey sucker! (Now there's nothing you can do.) A married man? you're out of your head Sleepless nights, on an H.P. bed A daddy by the time you're twenty-one If your happy with a nappy then you're in for fun. [Chorus:] Young Guns, Having some fun Crazy ladies keep 'em on the run. Wise guys realize there's danger in emotional ties. See me, single and free No tears, no fears, what I want to be. One, two, take a look at you Death by matrimony! I remember when he such fun and everthing was fine, I remember when we use to have a good time, Partners in crime. Tell me that's all in the past and I will gladly walk away, Tell me that you're happy now, Turning my back Nothing to say! "Hey tell this jerk to take a hike, There's somethin' 'bout that boy I don't like" "Well sugar he don't mean the things he said" "Just get him outta my way, 'cause I'm seeing red We got plans to make, we got things to buy And you're wasting time on some creepy guy" "Hey shut up chick, that's a friend of mine, Just watch your mouth babe, you're out of line" OoooooH! GET BACK HANDS OFF GO FOR IT! [Chorus] |

Slogger,
Might be better to accept the potential of a beating rather than getting deeper into it. Tough call, maybe wait and see. I dont think there is much rain tomorrow, more likely on the last day if the match goes that far! A Lanka win is a long shot and a risk that maybe you just have to take. Even 200 looks a tough get to me. If India get beyod 100 tomorrow you can probably start buying back some Lanka red to be safe. |
