yeah grade cricket generally speaking around Australia is fairly good. Kevin Pietersen, Ian Bell, Alec Stewart, Stuart Broad, all of the Aussie players have gone through grade cricket ranks

I think I also read a book from Nasser Hussain, he spent a while playing grade cricket here as well. Getting used to Aussie conditions can only do you good for long term, valuable experience
