Thunder are a hard team to back because you know your fate pretty early on, they lack depth in the batting and in this format of the game that's not something you want to be lacking and their bowling isn't much chop either, they have a few decent bowlers but hardly enough to contain a team for 20 overs

Renegades look strong in all departments, especially with James Pattinson playing in this game. Plenty of batting available with the West Indian all-rounders and Finch at the top, I can't see the Thunder winning unless they set 170+

I can't understand why teams are choosing to bowl first

this is where I think the Thunder will come undone, losing those two in the powerplay really hampers them

bit worried as an englishman by the convict bowlers not making the test squad.

our fast bowling ranks are very very good, just got to keep them fit and the likes of Siddle won't be anywhere near the 11

i remember having a conversation with a group of australian fans at the close of play at Lord's, i think it must have been the 2011 odi series.

it was generally accepted that your bowling was pretty low at that time but there was a lot of promise waiting in the wings. no-one was really talking about johnson who seems to have bridged the gap.

I think Johnson's career was reserected in his final year at the IPL with Mumbai indians. can't understand why they let him go and why Aus did not select him for England!

i think he understands about the importance of getting his marquis performers into their happy place and keeping them there. (take note england, it's not through second rate stats compiled by second rate analysts, hard work and a unified dressing room)

rarely mentioned about how he pulled him out of that ridiculous odi in india before the ashes, but that was a huge call.
