The point of putting pollard up the order is to give himself time to get a good sighter. There is no point him porking it around now. They have players who can do that. It would be fun to see him play some shots in a power play

I don't know if he is nursing an injury but their attack is powder puff at the moment and the bowlers who might be effective in Aus or rather the ones after Bhuvi, Shami and Ashwin to look at are Ishant, Umesh Yadav and Varon Aaron. Unfortunately Jadeja is Dhoni's pet and he will get a berth possibly ahead of Ahswin and another fast bowler

Poor shot really and a disappointing innings from Pollard in the circumstances, nice hits not withstanding but WI have players who can move the score along so there is no need for him to come in at 3 and play like a batsman. Once he was in he should have gone after the bowling and caused chaos. Very poor shot with so much width to be trying to pull it from there

Terrible innings from Samuels.His innings totally shifted the momentum towards India.
i rank that samuels knock further up the scale of dodginess than forward alarm's effort

Samuals was protesting at something or other, something not right with that knock. Did he not get the gratitude from those above with his ton in the last match perhaps. Was it a case of him saying `well, watch what happens when i decide not to play`
