WI did well to survive the swinging new ball in game 1. Will they do it again?

Maybe, but at the price, bet has to be WI.

Indeed these short enough odds tend to move north quite often. I would have imagined we can see India at 1.7-1.8 if WI bat first and don't get out in their numbers in first ten overs. I would back WI too if they bat first.

Odds are too short for a two horse game to get invilved straight away. Batting first seems an advantage. Was so impressed with the West Indies last time out and my India can't lose this prediction!

Good to see Umesh Yadav playing. I would actually like to see him bowl in tandem with Varon Aaron. The World Cup is in Australia. Foresight is better than hindsight, a thing English selectors continue to not use.

I think it is pointless playing Mishra. A decent bowler but he will get mauled in Aus and I would rather play Ashwin ( I don't know if he is injured or available ) but with the World Cup looming I want to see Varon and Yadav even at the expense of Shami or Bhuvi as we already know what they can do. I would alternate them to accomodate both tyro's in this series. Ishant could also be useful in Aus and I would like to see what sort of form he can conjure.

Jamaican Patties

It is like an English savoury mince pie but the pastry is slightly yellowish and the mince is pungent ( hot ) very nice!

I guess it is the WI equivalent of a paratha although India are looking pretty fit these days and Raina is the only fat aloo in town!

Early Aus coaches changed Indian diets away from their favourite foods.

I said last time I liked taylor and WI had no chance if he didn't fire and he wasn't till he came back for the second spell.

Well that has moved the odds!

Well they have a problem there. It would hurt to have him come in when the ball goes soft. I'd also put Raina in next too.

I still expect a big score here from India. Is this the best price we can get?

you guys are terrible!

the management had to step in and say oi Virat NO!

That is the job of management. It is not for Kohli to say I am out of form drop me or play me down the order. He has plenty of confidence and will come good again. But it is about what is best for the team not Kohli!  It is best for the team to have Kohli in the team but maybe right now not at 3.

Do you think somebody said to Jonathan Trott is your mental state alright Johnny? He should not have played when he was clearly shot

is it me or are india  too short at the moment.1  or 2 wickets and theye in real trouble, they certainly cant afford to take chances and hopefully pressure will build and  then wickets fall
By:
cricketnut2
When: 11 Oct 14 12:27
No wickets have fallen since, however the powerplay, is not far away and that will be the time to lay India, yes they may score 50 from the 5 overs, but could just as easily lose 2-3 wickets.

don't think so solw.

you're fighting against an ingrained bias in the market, as well as expectations of a conservative total being competitive, and then you've got one (or all) of dhoni jadeja kohli and raina possibly going beserk.

good chance we'll see under 1.3 at the change of innings and they may well be worth a lay then.
