The only people betting on this match should be the ones who already know what is going to happen.
Wouldn't that be interesting watching that market... |
By:
Funny you should say that. I just talked to Sanga and Jaya, and they say Paks are asking for too much money to throw the game. Fix not in yet.

Dangerous territory this game. Might have a small (quarter point) lay of the draw before the off but watching the market for now.

I've had a small back of the draw. Looking to lay.
Should be enough rain to generate a profit. |

Pakistan vs Sri Lanka always produces quality and entertaining cricket matches, hopes this series will be the same. These two have played 46 Test matches so far with Pakistan winning 17, Sri Lanka winning 11 and 18 have been draws. Pakistan lead the H2H 80-52 in ODI's and 7-5 in T20. So Pakistan have always been a superior team against Sri Lanka, no matter what the format is or where they play.
My bet is Lay Sri Lanka to win the series!! Good Luck!! :) |

draw for me. Been plenty of rain and storms in galle past few days. Obviously the weather is always a lottery in these parts but when it does rain it's usually pretty heavy. Bit shorter than I wanted to back but a case of backing it and not trading for me in this one.

Thinking of doing the same. Forecast pretty grim, even though August a relatively dry month in Galle. |
By:
36mm of rain forecast today on the sl met office. That could shake the draw up a bit!
By:
Draw price holding up surprisingly well. Half tempted with a small punt but tomorrow weather should be ok! Tough call really. If Pak lose the toss they are a lay for me.
By:
frida no play at all
By:
It's a dry Galle pitch, expected to turn square from day three onwards. But there is some brown grass on it too
By:
Misbah is concerned about early wickets.
By:
The Pakistan batting always looks shaky to me.
By:
Often 30/40 for 3 and then a rescue job from the old timers!

By:
Typical Pak start. Let's hope they stabilize, otherwise my draw green at risk.
By:
i went the other way and laid the draw. Took a bit of green after the second wicket. The skies looked a bit dark & I know it can flatten out quite nicely at Galle

Going to need quite a bit of rain to stop a result in this. Pakistan have a lot of right handers for herath and junaid khan will make rough on the other side for the offies

SL -130 Pak -310 Draw +330 Not much different from yours. |
By:
sl well short here
By:
Pak must be in with a shout here, weather permitting?
By:
300 is usually a non losing score here so am tempted to start laying SL. Pitch though may play better tomorrow. Not much reverse because of prolonged rain for Pakistani masters of Reverse. Not sure here. SL could go on to make a big total.
AND as if by magic! talk too much |
By:
market is in denial
By:
A bit gutted now I didn't get that SL lay in big! Trouble is you bet on Pakistan at your peril. They could still lose this or win it! I just hope the rain takes it out of their hands! Sitting pretty one the draw equal red aginst it with SL and miniscule loss on Pakistan having taken insurance on them winning at 4.7 as Ajmaal could win it for them if they continue to score well in the first innings
By:
I always fancy Pakistan when they get runs on the board.
They'll need another hundred or so but are well placed. I don't trust the weather forecasts... |
By:
Tomorrow should be the best batting day. Pak go past about 340 and things get difficult for SL with some time lost to rain.
Could green up here for handy amounts and Pak have cost me big money in the past. So while looking to lay SL here, I'm not going big. |
By:
SL price now 5.5 and has rather got away from me. Still expect a fair amount of rain and will do the cautious thing and green up.
By:
Raining 9-40am
By:
Sounds like the pitch is starting to play up already.
By:
Lunch 347/5
I'd say it's out of SL's reach already, with overs lost to rain and bad light. But Pak spinners good chance for a win. |
By:
Just woke up. Much as expected. My question is do I take and equal green on draw and Pak? Rehman is making batting look easy. Can Pak throw it from here? If they try will rain thwart them?
By:
Can SL get in excess of 300? The pitch is slow so should be ok but I guess I need to cover some angles! Am going to take a covering bet on SL too, you just can't afford not to!
By:
Pak need to get 20 wickets in less than 3 days and 1 session. I would hope SL can avoid the follow on as the pich should remain on until tomorrow. If they bat beyond tea tomorrow and maybe till close I would hope the weather will intervene enough for the draw. Ithink Pak have enough time to win this. If they have to bat again they clearly have the players to give it some humpty unlike England!
Great catch by Mahela! |
By:
I think I might have been premature in my buy back of Pak as this pitch is a fast bowlers graveyard. I just wanted some green in the bank as I cannot trust Pakistan to do the right thing and see out the draw!

Ha England unchanged!
Priceless. Well done management for taking Finn out of Lions! Crazy! |
By:
is there really 27 oversleft today

By:
sri lanka should be double figures to win this match, rain is forecast & even if they get a full days play in on day 3 they will still probably be behind & its an excellent batting wicket.
