Classic example of after-timing on the highlights show tonight. On the commentary at the time Gavaskar was saying India had lost the plot after conceding 20 runs to hooks after lunch, then in his end of day summary puts the boot into England for their batting approach in the same period! The hypocrisy is shameless.
Then Boycott comes on with his drivel, saying England should have been to get through the new ball, when India never even took it. So by his own logic attacking the old ball was correct. How do these people get airtime.

Unfortunately England aren't just any idiots they are prized chumps! Everybody at the ground was in shocked disbelief. If England had been getting snicks behind the Indians in the crowd would have been jumping up and down, screaming and shouting. The mood whilst delighted was shock and awe that England were so stupid.
Gavaskar was right actually but events unfolded and Dhoni came though as genius. Credit to him, you have to swallow on this one. Credit due.
