Big wicket for india. New ball to come, should get this done.  @slip, why would i be sweating? As i stated yesterday i have no red here. All green on india still and feeling confident.  Good luck getting green with your england bet!

i lay the draw all the time, when everybody else is backing it. i layed it the other day when all the rain was forecast cos i thought there was a decent chance it would miss and even if it didnt, i could see a result. but i wouldnt lay the draw at this point in a million years. i cut all my draw red last night at 21 and 20, right now the draw looks well overpriced at 14.0. everybody obsessed with this "if theyre still batting, theyll get there" idea, but the truth is england would bite your hand off at a draw. if it gets late in the day and theyre 7 or 8 down, the run rate could be 1 an over. sure the draw is unlikely, but not 14.0 unlikely. maybe 7 or 8 unlikely. wont be backing it, purely cos its the least likely result of the 3, but i wouldnt put anybody off taking a cheeky punt on it.

Prior has been all over the place with short balls so be surprised if they don't pepper him a bit before the new ball. Root also looked a bit shaky but took one for the team. Don't fancy Broad or Anderson to get runs being LH's but Stokes is due.

Agree, they should of tried to get the runs in 60 overs. Trying to get them in 90 overs on the last day opens you up to more wicket taking deliveries. If they needed 100 now with 4 wickets left, they would have more of a chance imo. The ball wasn't doing much for a period then & both batsmen were in. Should have taken the bull by the horns

People need to realise England would rather NOT lose every test they play. They play to avoid defeat instead of playing to win. It is this boring brad of cricket that continues to bite them. It's like the spanish tika taka of cricket. Would be quite happy to win every series 1-0 and send the english public to a summer of sleep.

Irrespective of the result of this game. We are far too 'english' in our approach to player selection, coaching and tactics. We aim to remove any aspect of flair and excitement from our game for some reason that to be quite frank is just beyond explanation.

This isn't a problem that is exclusive to test match cricket, you can probably see it more so in one day cricket. We are light years behind in our approach when compared to some of the lesser cricketing nations.

Morgan - not a chance - hasn't performed in any form of the game recently let alone tests. However you could put a one-armed chimp in though, results wouldn't be any worse.
