India bigger than England right now
a fair leap of faith that |
By:
If England can go past India score that can put India under pressure

if you're not all green here you shouldn't be trading these markets

By:
I am not sure it was an inside edge now! well done to the umpire! and an apology!
By:
it looked like an inside edge to me
By:
grubber
By:
ah pete!
It looked like an inside edge but was it? Completely inconclusive from pictures and sound. |
By:
no mark on pads from bat so inside edge - logically
By:
wrong Rider,
The bat did brush the back pad on the way through. I can't tell you if it was an inside edge or not to be honest. It did not look like it from the pictures but we are lead to " believe " hotspot. But was the mark on the bat caused by the pad or the ball? I still cannot tell |
By:
how do you know the bat brushed the pad?
By:
I saw it from the replays. Geoffrey on TMS confirmed it too but still no conclusive proof either way that it was an edge or not for me.
By:
saw what exactly? try watching snicko its shown during the full sweep of the bat as it passes both pads and there is no sound until the ball passed the bat,hth
By:
there is a hot spot mark on the back pad, not clean but there like a smudge. The snicko sound is delayed so the sound on the pad may be heard when the ball passes the bat to confirm the illusion of hitting the bat. Whatever the story I don't see any of the evidence is compelling.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

I'm backing draw @1.47
the market doesn't get it: wickets are making draw more likely as teams will probably be level-ish at the end of England's innings! ![]() |

^snicko is delayed? so you are saying snicko is out of sinc with the picyures?

May
That scenario is the play i like also, right now. |
By:
So 4.8 on India worth a go
By:
hmm perhaps some value still left at 4.8 yes. imagine England 180-5. India would probably be less than 2/1 if not around 2.5
By:
i am not saying that, i have them bigger and can get away, but am hoping it tilts my way.
put it this way.......6 down and 200 behind would be a weak position. |
By:
Rider
Yes I am saying snicko is out of sync with the pictures but I think all this will be clarified at tea or end of play by Sky or on Channel 5 tonight. Just to conifrm also I cannot tell if it was an inside edge or not and don't see how the umpire can without all these telvisual aids. I think he made a good decision. |
