yes - England don't know whether to defend for the draw or go for the win.

it's only a matter of time for ballance against the spin v- bat pad or through the gate inevitible

Not a bad diversion this to the main business of the day (the inspection at Bangladesh, over a million traded on CMM).

Hope yr right bulk of profit on SL now. If prior had gone there be majour flip flop. They need couple early wkts to pile pressure on

Prior very lucky in both innings - if Umps had given them on the field he would have been gone twice. Could be Englands saviour but if either Jaya or Sanga get in tomorrow I'm sure they will go for the win. Both at the end of the careers - I don't think they will play for a draw when such glory at Lords is possible !

In a 4 day championship game at Lord's on April 30th...
Middlesex     123 & 472-3 beat
Yorkshire     178 & 416
3rd highest run chase in County Championship history.

this really is a very skilful piece of bowling by Herath, on a pitch giving him only a little help

it's one thing smacking a medium pacer on a great wicket - it's another defending against a top spinner

opposite for me, backing the draw, another 70 runs and they will have too many for sri lanka to chase

Morgan sacrificed the IPL to try and fight his way back into the test side. 191 at Trent Bridge.

It's not the wicket that's getting these out though - this track for pace is still very true

odds crazy.  someone clever could have cleaned up here!

fcekety fcek fcek fcek.

Been away at crucial times.  Would have backed England big time at 10's then some more comedy green SL.

healthy green draw and SL.  Exposed on England.

I don't rule England out of this either.

My feeling is that draw may well prevail as getting 300 odd runs may still be tough on the 5th day.  At some point both teams may favour safety over ignominy.  If I were SL tomorrow I would take a stab at glory and immortality and that would give England a chance!

My betting preference is that England bat and bat and bat!

This is great just wish I had taken some health insurance on England and could have played with good sized greens
