Yeah, is a strange experience.
Moron:"What do you do for a living?" Me: "I gamble for a living, bet on sports and races and such...". Moron:"Can you make money doing that?" Me: "Ummmmmm,what part of for a living did you not get?".. The most frustrating part of it, is trying to get a mortgage for a house, of somebody that makes less than half of what you make, and they have to knock you back for a house because you don't make enough money... not having in-play betting is a joke. so frustrating having to call up. by the time you call up give your details, the odds change or goes suspended that must be the hardest part, by the time you've rung up, given your details, told them what you want to do, a wickets gone and the odds are 40 ticks different |

Pollies nicky. wrote a bill many years back in relation to online casinos. Then they read it, and realised it covered sports too. Stupidest part, we can bet in running on horse racing

Because those in charge are fcuking morons.
A partial answer, will be to protect us (make us use the real pokies to support governments) rather than play online casinos where they can't tax us. The law, is about pokies and casinos. Sports is merely collateral damage. It is quite possible to bet my house and family on the result of this game, as long as I use the phone line to talk to somebody rather than use the phone line to click a button. |

We are dealing with people that stand up and argue with a straight face about corruption in sport and exchanges enabling corrupt people to lay a result and throw a match, because they don't understand that laying a result in sport is simply backing the other team anyway, which has been possible for as long as any of them have lived, and what they are fighting to keep.
