9 used to be oustanding.

i loved Tony Grieg, especially with Bill and Richie in his heyday was peerless.

But nicholas is intolerable, Healy is facking one eyed eedjut, Tubbs brings little, Slats is awful, Chapelli still good.

Sky a very professional unit, with the exception of Botham who's lazy and boorish, and Warne is a puerile tit. Strauss a bit weak, but needs time to bed in.
Report maxstout December 8, 2013 11:46 PM GMT
Sounds as though the pressure is on some of us too.

Keep calm and carry on.

I can't bear Nicholas.

If a sport needs second-rate, hoary, contrived and overdramatic commentary to draw attention to the action and situation, it's a rubbish sport.

Cricket is not that sport and therefore that narcissistic pr1ck Nicholas has no place in a commentary box.

He ruins my enjoyment of watching the game.

I enjoyed this little story about Spanky Roebuck.

"He had the sharpest of minds (he took a double first in law at Cambridge) and, when the mood overcame him, a lacerating tongue as well. A brilliant writer on cricket for among others The Sunday Times and the Sydney Morning Herald, he was once accosted by Mark Nicholas, who penned a regular column himself at the time and informed Roebuck that they were the best cricket writers around. “Who told you that” quipped Roebuck, “your mother?”"

its been sooo disappointing , these first 2 tests , i'm fed up staying up all night , getting knackered and beat , england have played pathetically , i never saw such a start to this series , comfortably 2-0 down , never looked like getting a draw in either test , been comfortable victories for australia ....
Report megsy December 9, 2013 1:51 AM GMT
what johnson and co done bowling on a flat wicket in adelaide was extraordinary, freakish.

dont get carried away making over 300 in adelaide, thats a low score on the averages for that ground.

poor poms have to face johnson and co on their favorite test wicket in perth, expect the poms to finish the test with red noses from wind burn as the ball zooms past. johnsons licking his chops already.
Report Dado7029 December 9, 2013 1:53 AM GMT
At first I thought they had lost this due to there fielding England but really they have been beaten in every department expect to see some changes from England, but that was poor and the selection of shots there in that last innings was atrocious
Report megsy December 9, 2013 1:56 AM GMT
you will find australia studied the english players weaknesses and bowled accordingly to those. A+ for their homework
Report geordie1956 December 9, 2013 2:15 PM GMT
Finn & Rankin must play at the WACA - in fact why not also play Bresnan & Bairstow at least we should attempt to show we can compete - nothing to lose now as most (including me) think we are down and out
