completed match and match odds market are very much out of sync.

SL are a gigantic price given that the only chance of this match being completed is now going to be a very short NZ innings.

D/L is looking at a chase of about 220 in twenty overs for the kiwis which they have fack all chance of getting.

Why not clear up the rest then, still more available at 1.6? Lol! I don't think they'll bat again (hopefully).

And surely your 2 hour prediction will be used for a NZ innings to get a result in the match?

9.15 pm It's a 23-overs-a-side game now. Starting at 9.25 pm local time. That means Sri Lanka will come out to bat for 14 balls..

Duckworth Lewis will come into play, so Sri Lanka dont want to lose too many wickets

If it was reduced to a 20 over game, NZ would have been chasing 179

I want to learn how to properly calculate Duckworth Lewis, still got a bit of confusion about it

That seems distinctly possible to me.

although, again I disagree with the method. It is effectively saying that Sri Lanka would have scored around 400 in 50 overs.

That explains the move on SL from 1.24 to 1.18 then inside about a minute.

it was all about how many wickets they lost before the rain break. as they were only one down they'd only been consider to have used up about 30% of their resources.

market thought that D/L always favours chasing sides, but it's a massive bonus for sides setting a total affected by rain delay when they've hardly lost any wickets.
