Australia win the toss and elect to Bat first

Aus need a big total to win, anything under 280 won't be enough

OK so do Aus put on another good display against India and score a big one or will they lose a couple early and struggle to 225 ? I'm going for the latter and laying the runs line cheaply

hope you win sharkey ,from the first over looks a good batting track , so we see  that 2-2 bet on the Chile v Ecuador match was unlucky , nearly landed

could go either way - don't see a mid score - has to be either all out or a biggie you fancy

Decent start imo.  Finch dropped, but the longer he is there, the more dangerous he becomes.  Hughes can bat and will get his strike rate up but can hold up an end.  No wickets lost, runs not huge but a good platform.
Looks a heavy Indian market for mine.  Think they wait a while before they cash in on it.  Think we see 2.50 about them.

Look's like Dhoni is trying to get rid of as many pace overs as he can because he knows who will be doing the damage..Finch will tee off in a mo

show me an indian odi market that isn't indian heavy Laugh

you're right. Aus long - it's a strong start.

There was one recently.  Maybe the last game?  But yeah, rare not to have markets like this.

Problem is, no matter how much value you feel you are getting, the market strength keeps you waiting.  Certainly not good to nip in and out unless backing India, at obviously bad value which I tend to have issues doing.  Mostly.

So DStyle your obvious play is to lay India every match?

if i were exclusively an outright gambler, yes. although i'd wait until the best opportunity presented itself.

it may be wrong now but it can get a lot more wrong.

my positions in both tennis and cricket are both medium term, so wrt trading whilst the outright price is usually far too heavily weighted in india's favour, they never really reprice until indian wickets go down.

This will be higher than last day, market is wrong.imho.

It will correct, but yes eventually.............

1/113 and evens both ways

they're cruising at 5 runs an over with 9 wickets to go, 300+ is on the cards

Earlier, I invested heavily in Aus. @1.96 and became disappointed when the run rate from Watson and Hughes dropped to what was effectively just three runs an over. Now that the markets are pricing in a total of around 300 I am much happier!

They way India are bowling you may be forgiven in thinking that they deliberately do not want to win this cricket match!

I dont know why theyre bowling so many spinners, they only way they are getting out is if they mishit one

there's a lot to like about the way this australian unit are approaching these games.

the bowling changes were superb in the last match bowling the right bowlers to the right batsmen and when batting, attacking the middle overs of spin puts india and dhoni hugely out of their established formula.

Indian weakness is not in the batting.....

If they lose two on the spin then Dhoni will either be shot or forced to resign.
By:

Have to lay Aus here despite the odds.  Bailey probably take a bit to get going and Hughes will try and up his rate now and probably go out.  Hasn't looked real confident with the big shots.  Worth a gamble if only for the market love for India.
