By:
Clarke sh*tting it to be honest. He's in about 27 minds god love him.
By:
gotta love dead rubber games, anything can happen; and usually does.
By:
It's obvious Oz have designs on no more than 250 and although they have lost wickets they are likely to achieve what they set out to achieve
By:
They declare after this over. Not at 250
By:
give them at least 2-3 overs at England before tea, should be the aim here
By:
the old cliche 'time is money'
By:
Ive learnt that , as I get older.......dont waste time in life
By:
Ath had a little dig about Oz losing a lot of matches lately, touched a nerve with Warne.
By:
Aus should have declared already (if not 10 mins ago). England will need a massive carrot to go for it and they've already got too many runs.

not seen much of Woakes or Kerrigan this pm

I think we should all take the great man's views very very seriously indeed. After all, he knows exactly what he's talking about, having captained the Australian test side to many famous victories. Right?
It would be a very foolish man indeed who declined the chance to try and score 230 runs in around 10 minutes to win the final test of a walkover series. Achieving that would make the team a lot better apparently. It's great to know that my Sky subscription is helping to pay for such astute judgement. |
By:
not sure if the Aussie team are the best at number crunching though...........
By:
Poor from Oz not to beat a time of 9 men.
By:
they'll declare now surely
By:
embarrassing in fact Injera...
By:
Declaration inevitable.
By:
Few more overs to 250 I reckon
By:
surely Aussies wont come out and bat after tea?
By:
Market thinks they did. I saw him shake his head. I think they are batting on?
By:
Clarke won't risk losing match - forget declaration at tea
By:
It would be hilarious if they batted on

By:
40 overs is plenty to get a result
By:
What did they say, asking rate for Eng would already be over 5 an over? If little Michael's trying to dangle a carrot he's not doing a very good job of it.
By:
Will be handshakes with 15 overs left.
By:
Aus have lost 6 wickets and haven't managed 5 an over. We'd be daft to even attempt a run chase.
By:
That's tea. A session full of entertainment. Australia lead by 226. If they declare at the interval there will be 44 overs left in the day. We'll bring you news as we have it. The last session begins at 4.30pm.
By:
RR 5.16 if declaration at lunch
By:
Little Michael doesn't seem to know his @rse from his elbow, but what would you expect as part of Lehmann's Travelling Circus?
They literally haven't got a clue...Ponting, the Waughs, Warne must be spitting... |
By:
declare during tea so not to lose time doing a changeover imho. If Aus come out padded up then laying England is the only cert.
By:
Atherton ecstatic he's done his final commentary stint with Warne for the series...desperately missing Bumble.

*tea even
