Coincides with the first day of the Premier League but sure we can give it some attention. May have to take second place on SkyGo but sure there is money to be made/lost.
Northants v Essex
Essex just managed to sneak into the quarter finals then hammered Nottinghamshire. Ryan Ten Doeschate is the main reason they've made finals day with some heroic batting, but the batting line up around him has faultered in recent matches. Northants have cruised to the finals, topping their group and crushing Durham in the quarter final. They are performing brilliantly in the County Championship and the YB40.
Having the Northants win.
Hampshire v Surrey
Hampshire are possibly the best one day team in England, top of the YB40 group and won their T20 group. They are also defending champions. They beat Surrey twice in the group stages, and 1/2 in the YB40. Carberry, Vince, Adams, Ervine is a formidable batting lineup and they should nullify Surreys strength, bowling.
Can't have anything other than a Hampshire win.

you might be right Wallflower but I think maybe the pitch might be wearing slightly but there are a couple of short boundaries for anyone desperate enough to need runs. I'd be happy if Hants got close to 150

I know he had two wickets but for me Dernbach is a very average bowler at best. International standard

Yes, I think the market is incorrectly pricing as if it is 20 overs. This is the equivalent of 170 off 15 in 20 overs. It won't be chased.
And the Surrey favouritism, which is usually misplaced.
fair enough, shocking odds during the innings, nortants should have been much lower at times but i was greening up with them on @1.3 sitting tight now :D
Yeah there is no point in getting out at these prices.
Maybe they could chase this against a top batting side, but Northants strength is actually their bowling, which makes the score even more superior.

Solanki is statistically their best T20 player.
but they'll have to counter the likes of Azharullah, who I think is the top wicket taker this year, and Spriegel, who doesnt concede many runs.
makes me laugh how cricketers run in, as if theyre about to hug, and then stop, realising how unmanly they think it looks and clap hands together instead.
