I put a treble on yesterday with Stan James but ended up with less than my original bet. Is this correct?
Here's what they said after me emailing them:
Thank you for your recent email.
The reason for the lower than expected return on your £205 treble is that the bet on Lancashire has been settled as a dead-heat as the match was drawn. In such circumstances, the stake going onto that leg of the bet is halved.
The calculation for the return is as follows:
£205 on India @ 2-9 returns £250.56
£250.56 on Murray @ 1-6 returns £292.32
£292.32 halved is £146.16, on Lancashire @ 2-5 returns £204.62
I realise this is disappointing but the returns are in line with our rules and that of all other bookmakers..
Well there was never an option for the draw, just lancs or Yorkshire win. I have emailed them saying surely that selection should be void makeing it a double on India and Murray

your bet has been settled correctly - at the end of the day you've had a bet on a 2/5 shot that hasn't won
If youd stuck £1000 on at 2/5 you would have got £700 back

if you lump on a horse at 2/5 and it dead heats, you've lost 30% of your cash
this is what cripples your running up money from the other 2 selections but that's life I'm afraid, be grateful that lancs got 2 off that last ball for a tie otherwise its -£205.
