lost about 12 overs so far, another 5 before they could start if it doesn't p!ss down again. i really don't see the sense in batting 35ish overs for a no result. surely somebody should think sensibly about the number of overs, not just a mathematical equation.

I'll happily take a couple of overs. I think they should pre-paln this stuff and agree before the game. it's gonna be a crappy day if there's more than an hours rain the match reverts to a 30/30. Then at least the crown are likely to get a contest and each side would know before the match.

What's even more ridiculous is that if Pakistan complete their innings, there's going to be a 20 minute gap between innings. Why not just turn it round and re-start as soon as India's batsmen are ready
