It's like the episode of Porridge when the fix went in and Godber took a dive.  Fletcher was the only one in the whole prison to bet on the draw!

windies deserve to go out for being so stupid tbh.  Samuels first, and the pollard.  Fair enough that it was those 2 that got them to a winning position, but you can't just throw it away in the way that they both did.

Could the game be a D/L tie?

Which then means SA would go through anyway, but the actual match result is a tie?

and how would Betfair settle the market with a tie? They've had confusion with this before.

strangely coincidental that the umpires chose that moment to call them off. They were playing in heavier rain earlier.

I've always thought this too. Obviously not. Though I did think you could theoretically have half runs so I'm even confusing myself.

They're not going to come back on now.  Tied game, match odds void.  Waste of time that one.

why are windies 4.1?

if they go back out surely they are big favourites? if they don't market is void?

what's to lose?

Pecker,

I am just glad I am not in this.

The one thing we can say is that the match is over.

SA I think have qualified for the final.

The DL is either a tie or draw or what?  So if you have bet on the win market you go home with your stake intact but nobody is a winner......except the tie wallah's and that is not confired as yet.  Is there a difference between a tie and a draw?

Cozier calling it a draw on DL

That was my thinking but to say I've not got a scooby about cricket is an understatement. My man on MSN still fires me bets 5 years on Laugh

what happened when eng played west indies and west indies miss calculated, im sure eng won and west indies would have won if they scored another run

There is no tie in D/L - it's win or lose.  SA will win this unless they come back on.  Who knows about the tie market though...

West Indies are 4.1 to hit 5 runs should they come out, if they do come back out.

1.04 for a Tie so all but certain but SA were sub 1.3 whilst a Tie was 2.0. To me it felt like a possible retirement in a tennis match 5-5 in Set 01 TB but someone is smashing on one big server at 1.3 for Set 01.

no tie on DL?  where is this nonsense coming from
By:

When: 14 Jun 13 19:55
£31k at 1.4 on a Tie. Officials in cricket are a bit of a joke, always asymmetric information being dished out yet the markets run into their millions, it's feckin barmy, great for those honed in and know what they're doing though. Huge money about.

They cannot come out again.  SA will definately not come out of their dressing room
