English batting line up is not as fluid as Indian for example where Dhoni keeps shufling himself or other batsmen depending on match situation. England more often than not keeps at a set plan

Key is what target Cook has in mind. If they have settled for 280 then they might pace it towards it. As of now they dont seem in any rush.

That wicket probably enhances the possibility (not probability) of England having a chance of scoring 300, no way were those two going to have a run rate of 6 or more when Malinga comes back on.

Score board is almost the mirror image of England-Australia scoreboard. England mugged it up big time in that match in the end. I hope they dont do that today.

England should understand that they should not leave the charge today till the end. Srilanka is clearly saving Malinga for the end and trying to get over with the likes of Dilshan to cover up for mathews and eranaga

May be take 6 overs off from remaining 15 and make them 25 runs..as these people dont look to take any risk against him. So that makes 191 and remaining 9 overs about 70 so they should be making around 260s i think
