Would expect England to win. They have much the stronger bowling attack (assuming the usual suspects play).

started off with a smallish lay of Eng in the hope that NZ bowl first ( conditions 8 miles from Lords are good for bowling and batting 2nd will I think be easier).

I have a had a shilling on England at 1.51. It is a solid start and I think they will be too strong. Quality post! I was hoping Trott had gone but at least the stroke makers are coming in now the only problem is that both balls are still relatively new so I fear now I might have been a bit premature. Ha thank God Trott is in to blunt it up a bit!

Englands start is ok, although unspectacular, it has been a bowlers year so far, England will need to post 230 to make it an interesting game, 250 for a close game and 270 would be plenty.

Shocked to see Dernbach in the side goes for over 6 economy and at 38 runs per wickets he is by far the most expensive on wickets, terrible selection

They are going along ok, you all seem to forget, outfields are slow, wickets are damper than usual, hence the ball doesn't come on to the bat or travel as quick to the boundary, hence you have to lower the expected final total. Wickets in hand are also a big thing, going in to the last 15 overs.

nz msot sixes around 2/1 in play with pp. Looks very decent to me. Buttler and Morgan the obvious dangers, but NZ have the bigger hitters all the way through.
