i think it does on this pitch - if this pitch is as hard as the comms are making out...
on this pitch, on what basis? Because the batsmen were scoring slowly and so as not to criticise their fellow professionals, the commentators put the blame on the pitch? How often do you see them say that and then in the chasing team's innings, they come out hitting one boundary after another, blowing the pitch comments out of the park with them.

well the comms have been ramping 130/140 as a competitive score so that might be why. BTW highest score on the pitch so far this IPL is 130...
