What hapens if no further play is possible is their sum complicated formula for deciding a winner or is it simply a draw? I have a small green on both sides winning.
If no further play, then it's no result. Either 20 overs must be completed, or play resume with 20 overs total possible and Bangladesh either knock the runs off or Sri Lanka knock them over.
I swear the Sri Lanka groundstaff are forcing this to be a no result. It doesn't appear to have been raining for the past hour - just the threat of rain.

we have lost around 15 overs so far . So play will go on till the 35th over at least

we might be playing 25 overs game according to cricinfo . If thats the case , its 168 to win for bang
the only thing i will add in B's favour though is that malinga is almost certainly bowled out, or at best, has one more to bowl.
how ever many overs that is left, the run rate will be around 8 runs an over.
malinga doesnt have much overs left as he bowled 5 in the first 10 i think

no takers for the D/L explanation then? at required run rate total for 25 overs would be 151.5 runs so how do we get to 168?? and what effect does lost wickets have on the total??
Yeah Bangla should relax... unless they think more rain is coming. They don't want to be behind D\L in 4 overs time and there is rain.
They will be well ahead of the 20 over mark for DL so no need to panic. They do have 7 wickets left so I suppose these two can still afford to go for it and try and finish it.
They actually look like they want to lose, making this so much harder than it has to be.
