no..what i meant was trotts innings had put pressure on the batsmen at the other end hence making them feel its a 20/20.
dj..all i can say is id rather have these guys in now than trott with his eye in!
that should have gone the distance too :( not many full tosses get hit into the stands it seems

agree dj but that was the time they wanted to tee off and he got out doing the same as the others. Butler's wicket is killing my runs just as he was about to tee off on a big wide full toss.

i couldn't care less after this innings was all over 265, 268 273 275 and now lucky to get 260 not going to sleep well after this

I think they already have enough runs but making a low score will allow NZ to bat differently and give them some confidence.

20/20 here same sh it...it says its harder to bat 2nd than 1st.
do not know whats a good score you would think england with one of the best bowling attacks can hold nz average lineup to 258. but some of the scores at hamilton could be very high

I was about to trade out and back NZ then Taylor got out. Sometimes I'm very thankful that in aus we have to call to bet ip.

Have to agree Blake, pitching halfway down 2 McCullum on a ground this size is probably not the best of ideas !!
Fair enough they had their plan to bowl short, right or wrong. But surely with 10 an over needed off the last 5 or whatever you revert to yorkers. Let alone that McCullum was smashing anything short.

I've never seen anything like that. The batting side can come from nowhere and win by smashing boundaries but I've never seen a bowling side just continue to bowl poorly in the same way and hand the win over.
That's why England are only any good at 20/20(wack it around,don't have to think),let's face it ye are not the sharpest
Before this game we were ranked number two in the world a fraction of a point from top spot. Number two in tests too. Djs post is something of an oferreaction to one poor game.
