the problem with dernbach is simple.
england have somehow, incredibly foolishly, convinced themselves that all his smart variations, which are effective against 2nd rate batsmen and in T20s when batsmen need 12+ an over, are actually more of an asset than a bowler with enough control to bowl to an international level batsmen. he has NEVER been good enough for this format and it's been obvious from the start. |
