Two things cause wickets - good bowling, bat batting. If you are cautious and do not take batting risks, you are still at risk from good bowling, and you do not get runs. If you are not cautious you are at risk from both but you get runs. Which do you choose. Obviously, your score should determine. The score they have should say to them, take the risks. Brainless batting.
