why no new ball yet? 1. there is movement/swing with the old 2. theyve been in the field all day- so have a real crack with new ball with last 4-6 overs and then again tomorrow morning when ball is still 'fresh' Rate reply: | report block user |

looks like its going to "average" out at about 90-2 for each of the sessions for Day 1. Pretty even, slight edge England perhaps.
Would love a wicket though ![]() |

Still think the draw looks good here or India lay - don't mind either

Hell!! The market moved way before the wicket there!!

Wonder will the India price moves steadily back to 2.25-2.3 by close

You can thank me later old chap. |

getting worried about my draw back..

Blood red the draw here.

im on the draw @ 3.0...

did the snow hit dartford area anyone know
|
|
By:
its a 5th day pitch i cant see any reason for backing the draw
|
|
By:
there is variable bounce and spin and only day 1 has been completed
|

By:
No snow in Dartford!
Cant see this lasting 5 days. Missed my chance to lay draw at 3. I think India will win with runs on the board. England will need of a lead of 150 and I cant see them getting it. Game then revolves around how badly either of these teams bat! If Cook goes early I will jump on India. Scoring runs may be slow progress on this pitch and if the draw price drops I will lay it too. I really think backing the draw is a shocking bet. I just can't see it. If I am missing something I would be happy to know what. |

draw flying out... be 4 soon

no snow in Chislehurst, Dartford or Erith !
i really like england on the evidence so far long way to go but see a result |
|
By:
Whip hand is with England no doubt at the moment or at least till we see them bat.
|
|
By:
these last 3 wickets are crucial to the match though, theres a world of difference between india being shot out sub 300 and putting on 350
|
|
By:
fck me, plenty jumped the gun here, it seems! Wkt fest. Result guaranteed.

love morses ideas
clueless about the game lol |
|
By:
yeah i admire his strategy
test one ''lay india they wont win a test theyre useless'' test two ''back the draw its a road'' test three ''back the draw gsm'' test three ''all green'' despite backing the draw low and it drifting test three ''lay england, theyre useless, they cant beat the india demi gods'' seriously though he has to be one huge wind up? |

New ball, a bit of moisture around I dont think it will take much to wrap up the innings. I agree 350 might prove to be enough though. Zak will biff it, Dhoni will biff it and pork it around too, Ishant can pork it for a while. 350 is possible but I dont think so.
It will be interesting to see how England bat. They must tale a lead or they have lost the series. Can you imagine what sort of wicket Dhoni will request if they win this match? |
|
By:
i reckon factoring in the possible median score say 325 for india, then england need to score at least 450, and its possible as i feel this pitch has one big innings in it...intriguing though
|
|
By:
Zak is a genuine no11 bat these days. Ishant should be batting ahead of him.
|
|
By:
Think india are short enough at 2.34 india to me look on for a par score
I dont think the pitch is doing to much just that india gifted atleast half of there wickets away Kp and cook must be brimming with confidence expect england to take a first innings lead Kohli and sehwag not playing great along with sachin althou he had a good 1st innings for once they there for the taken 3.35 england a very nice price imo |
|
By:
i reckon this from cricinfo sums it up well..
India would have been mighty pleased when they ended the first day on the square turner in Mumbai on 266 for 6. On a far less testing surface in Kolkata, the first-day total of 273 for 7 will be far less satisfying |
|
By:
Mate i cud not agree more and what price were india at end of day one in last test?
Well short i believe |
|
By:
The market assumes a more testing 4th innings chase this time.
India therefore predictably short. They don't lose home series. Will they lose this one????? ![]() |
|
By:
england just have to make sure there is no 4th innings chase
