they don't think he's up to it at the moment. steven davies was on standby for one of the tests this summer when prior was doubtful. obviously you can get away with it a bit more in one day cricket especially as kieswetter's shelling everything

Final total: 287/5. England well in this game imo. Never really let SA get away from them despite the big partnerships at times. Kept the scoring rate relatively under control throughout and have done well to keep SA under 300. SA's bowling pace attack has nothing to fear in Tsotsobe, Morkel, Parnell, and Mclaren. Duminy and Peterson are not as good spin options as Swann and Patel. Too many of the SA bowlers liable to go for runs, and I just don't see who is going to keep it tight for them in order to build up pressure. If England bat sensibly they win this for my money. If Steyn and Philander were playing then perhaps it would be a different story, but the SA bowling attack just doesn't look up to much at all.

personally boys , I milked run lines there. ENGLAND HUGE vs SA B grade bowling here . Back england here after 7- 8 overs if no wickets down. FOR SURE
