i just laid the draw when it hit just over evens and also yesterday at 2.6
should have just backed India in hindsight |
By:
Just as NZ were actually putting a decent partnership together, they go and lose another wicket right at the death
99/5 and still a long way from avoiding that follow on |
By:
they need it to rain for 2 days
By:
that hurt i was just gonna trade out
By:
new zealand are embarrassing ffs, even the improving Afghanistan team could beat them
By:
Why are India's odds still this high?
Is a lot of rain expected? |
By:
Got greedy then. Luckily I've traded all exposure before it got too silly and have the grand sum of £5 if India win! FFS. NZ batting even more of a shambles that I thought it would be.
d13phe - you wouldn't have got that much more for backing India... you made a pretty good call in my book. |

Come on India, finish this!

Lump and Leave. Lump and Leave
Said this a million times in India. A totally different team that got hammered against England and Australia. They bat decent and the market thinks the other team will survive. Odds go up but then Ashwin and Ojha and Bhajji and Kumble who can look pedestrian overseas suddenly become brilliant. Same story will repeat itself in the next 2 tests and agaisnt England later in the year |

Any thought about the weather tomorrow and the days to come?
By:
The beginning position to back the draw has back fired me..and now I am wondering if i should bite the bullet and back India full on...impending rain is an issue though..
By:
lump and leave? at 1.7 or get 2.2 in play...
![]() |
By:
I think we might see 1.7s again on India at some point of this match.
By:
I very much doubt we'll see odds against india the rest of this match...Kiwis look likely to follow on here , innings defeat also possible , barring weather , india win sometime on day 4 for me ...
By:
how tf was nearly 3 grand matched at 1.9 india first innings lead ??
at no time during this match was that any where near true odds ...either account movements or serious mug layer |
By:
scattered thunderstorms, 60% chance of percip, not sure how that translates with usual Indian weather really but i might check out the odds later today, 60% chance monday as well, 20% sunday
By:
Lix 2.2 assuming you get the top end of the market. NZ started batting at 2 and luckily I was at lunch
Will always make more money trading but the India tests are right dduring my work hours (Yes I have a full time job) So 1.8 SP against NZ is godsent. India has been short of rain and Hyderabad is no Mumbai where it buckets down for 2 days. Unlikley not to get a result though India must enforce the follow on if they can |

Coney, Kartik & O' Brien been a good trio SKY have had on duty for this game. Just Coney & Kartik today but good discussion nonetheless with some really interesting stuff about spin bowling from Kartik.
By:
i cant see anymore cricket in this today anyway, still advantage india if they get one of these two out the only batsmen that looked capable of naything were these two and franklin

NZ may get out alive here with help of the rain - rain forecast tomorrow and Monday
By:
No forecast rain tomorrow according to this (presuming this is the same Hyderadad!)

By:
*during playing hours that is
By:
I really dont know what to do.
I am red for £18 on the draw but can red out for only £3 Thoughts? |
By:
redded out, too big a hit on my BR to be betting against the weather
By:
1.28 looks value to me - forecasts suggest no rain at all tomorrow - should be enough time for India to bowl NZ out and even bat whatever they need to win. That's if there's no play at all on Monday
By:
well the match was delayed starting and the indians havnt broken this 2nd wicket partnership the longest of for the kiwis so far. The draw has been driven right into 2.3 as theirs likely not a full day tomorrow either. dont know how i feel i was on draw at last night knowing id at least get trade, but the kiwis we know can just give their wickets away.
By:
NZ might survive this one
By:
Hopefully.
By:
is rain forecast for monday?
By:
williamson gone. i'm balls deep on india so needed that bad boy
By:
possible t/storms overnight could hit monday play
By:
No need for Monday. Will be done by end of the day and can claim the next half an hour if need be. SHouldnt be a problem now
By:
well said Rohit ... great to see Pujara hit that 159 ...same amount of runs as the kiwi first innings total , great match to trade , with plenty of post stumps swings , but in the end India winning easily by an innings and 115 on day 4 as predicted , expecting much the same in the second test in Bangalore starting this friday
