Looks like rain will interfere again. An absolute deluge is predicted for Friday which could make it unplayable on Saturday - depends how good the fround staff are etc.. but completed match NO at 1.73 looks extremely tempting

Sometimes I wonder are some of the people posting opinions here watching the game at all. Talking of partnerships and 200+ possible. Never at one stage in the lead up to those last 2 wickets did any Australian batter ever look comfortable.
In fact now that Aussie cause looks lost completely they might loosen up and play a few shots and get some kind of total. I'll take my profit at 1.2 now and have a look later on.

Hate these cricket markets. I've had to cancel several hundred if not more than a thouand pounds without being matched.
200 is definitely possible here Scrappy Doo. Don't think they'll get there but it's not ridiculous to say they'll do so.
One other thing to remember is that England are stronger in the batting today with Patel replacing Swann, meaning we'll have Patel at 7, Bresnan at 8 and Broad at 9.

disgusting peformance from Australia, david warner and shane watson set the tone 2 runs off 5 overs ffs 
they let ravi bopra just bowl at them, never put any pressure on him
England bowled very well today but been very poor in the field. Clarke dropped by Morgan and Anderson, and Hussey dropped by Bopara and Bell. Been lots of misfields as well. Could be worth an extra 20-30 runs which is a hell of a lot in difficult conditions

brilliant catch from Bresnan. very difficult chance, but a lot of the other fielders' efforts to shame with that one
Worth remembering that Australia have actually picked their better seam bowlers today. Think Hilfy and Pattinson could ask more qns of Eng's top order than anyone else they have faced this season. Hilfy well suited to these conditions.
England have fielded well too perhaps saved around 15 runs due to good fielding

On cricinfo they have rfm after Finns name and rfm after Brennan's name, is that right fast medium and right medium fast? Presumably the former is considered quicker, slightly, than the latter? If so its a new one on me.

this match is just like the one at lords....eng did well in the first innings to post 280 n it was much easier in the 2nd innings
it's not just a case of the pitch being better for batting; it's the case that anderson and finn were absolutely formidable this morning and are a class and a half above australia's best.
i'd actually think about opening with halfenhoos and pattinson: lee's just too gun barrel straight.

Really woeful from Aussies here.....utter rubbish selectors are a joke!! Well they have always been a joke the selectors in Australia but there were still enough good players but now they don't pick enough of them to get any kind of result
