a little partnership here and a few boundaries and market will soon fall in love with Essex again.
took a bit more dutch lay at 1.15. hopefully no wickets for a while! |

Thanks Much for the radio link, a great help!

Essex not completely out of this :/

were looking like they might limp their way towards 140-150 their for a bit with that partnership then they lose both players in 2 balls and only make 1 more run.
140 and I'd have said they might have stood a chance, 112, surely the Dutch will chase that. they've already performed well at the top of the order yesterday scoring quick runs to take the game away early on |

interesting spin seemed to do the job yesterday but 7 went to Medium-fast and 3 to spin today.
price going out on Dutch during the break now! i'm tempted to back the dutch with all my Essex green but an early wicket would probably have the market wetting itself |

Spinners didn't have much chance with most of the Essex wickets down before Seelaar and Swart came on. 2/18 and 1/13 for that pair still suggests spin might be needed.

Sitting on dutch back at 3 here, pretty pleasing scenes for me. Thanks Screaming for pointing out Netherlands value yesterday, very underrated team indeed.

You're welcome, bh.
I wonder who has been actually laying all these bets on the Dutch. Absolutely everybody on here seems to have been backing them. |

surely they won't be going off at 2/1+ against Middlesex next week?

1 down!
5/1 from 1.4 hoping for some market panic with another so I can swith all the profit i moved to essex back to dutch! |

yeah, cheers screaming. forum has generally gone to the dogs, but its forumites like you that keep it worthwhile!

I was on Dutch today but I'll admit I laid them between innings yesterday - thought Lancashire had too many of them to be honest. Still profit from today more than accounted for loss on them yesterday

could make the semis now from this pish poor group what with nearly all the best teams being in group b
