Weather forecast is for scattered showers everyday like last time - I don't see it being a major factor. I think the odds are all about right currently. No opportunity to take a position yet IMHO.

By:
oh and surely with it being the northern hemisphere, the darkness will be less than in the first test by at least 5-10 mins?
By:
draw will a runner for most of game bcse of unpredictable nature of weather, or unless we see a team bolwed out very quickly
By:
hoping Ozzies bat 1st weather issues a big possibility 50% chance precipitation days 2 3 4 & 5
backed the draw 1st up big |

some great arbs already

Just fancy aussies might take control of series now
big toss for windies, think they need to bat first |
By:
Steptoes - good shout but need some cricket first. Lots of possibilities
By:
with the possibilty of weather about on the draw @4.1 to start
By:
aus win and bat
By:
good for draw backers

By:
the draw has to be the play for the 1st 2 days no?
By:
no bish

WI have no chance here...
By:
It's great if you layed the draw surely...?
It's a "Kanpur" type pitch. Batting 4th will be a nightmare. Aussies will score at 3.5-3.7 per over batting first as opposed to 2.5-2.7 for the Windies. Looking at the history, batting first is a big advantage in Port of Spain. |
By:
why would you lay the draw now? rain for 5 days oz batting 1st, WI half there attack missing.. oz will post 500..
By:
sorry i meant 5000 runs.
By:
windies needed bish to stand a good chance of being competitive imo
By:
The Windies will be mentally shot after the last test match that they should have won. A lot of bagage - Can't see them being the least bit competitive. Only the weather can stop the Aussies walking this
By:
interesting 1st over that.... come on rain!!!!
By:
what are the prospects of weather intervening today? Scoring rate is much improved from the last test even if we are only 5 overs in. Last time is was so slow the game really only got going on days 4/5.
By:
has there been a wicket
lol look at the draw price.. |
By:
windies could be buggered in this test in quick time without breakthroughs
Pitch will be tough going as game goes on and cant see them chasing game if aussies get half decent score |
By:
draw back to 4.0? wtf?
By:
can see aus trading above evens here, good time to lay them imho.
By:
imgetting out of my draw back, market seems stubborn
By:
**** pie
By:
It's because the draw is basically a weather bet, and there has been none yet. Aussies scoring at a decent clip plus the ball has done a little bit already.
By:
just wait and lay RR, 1 6 in the 1st RCB over will see a flip

hardly any liquidity whilst IPL on, come back after lunch when ipl finished

By:
Aus not exactly motoring along
By:
love to see ajmal bowl in a test match at this aussie batting line up
By:
aus to win this but xpect the to trade above 2.50 at some stage, best to lay aus and back when weather comes in,
By:
astonished at commentators' lack of knowledge of the laws. Once the skipper has withdrawn his appeal, he's withdrawn it - whether the appeal was for lbw or a catch.
