bell could do well here. No pressure on him with the situation looking bleak. If England were close to the target when he got to the crease, that's when he'd be a liability.

i could make a mess of that bird on eHarmony
By:
Bizzare logic screaming, i still think he probably feels under pressure right now
By:
KP's taken all the pressure off him imo, dougy.
Well, at least he has on this Forum. |

People on twitter complaining about having to pay $7 to watch the cricket from the fort.
They're in a beutiful location, watching high class international sporting event, in a country that has just come out of 30 years of civil war and where the average wage is probably a tenth of what it is in England (if That). What kind of pr*cks are complaining about paying 7 f*cking dollors. It's about 5 quid! |
By:
england should really win this.
By:
1.36?

By:

Market is bonkers here SL huge!
By:
HUGE. Bowlers got 5 stumps to aim at dougy

By:
target would have been down to 120 now without the no ball ruling for last wicket
By:
still fancy england here if these 2 get it below 100.
flop in another 40 runs???? |
By:
Sounds about right.

Bell's dismissal didn't quite add up inasmuch as Hawkeye had the ball pitching OUTSIDE off stump yet still hitting, ie going in the OPPOSITE direction to the way it was spinning.
Botham's commentary on the incident was as enlightening as usual: 'are they appealing for the catch?' ![]() |
By:
i dont get why england are 2-1 to win, should be much bigger imo.

Imo Sri lanka aren't worried here. They know to be patient and eventually they will get one. I think the problem here is that, i don't really have much confidence in anyone other than these two knocking these off. I think the match is evenly poised, but unless these two get it to less than a hundred, i still think SL take this.
By:
need say 25 runs for level game without wkt i reckon
By:
looks to me like its a market that isnt going to take much to flop
By:
Morning all
got an awful looking book really hoping for another 50 runs off prior and trott |
By:
might get a market panic if england get a good start to good start this sssion
By:
could happen mate
163 needed, wont take a huge amount of runs for market to get a shift on |
By:
At least one of Patel/Broad/Swann will make a 30+.
The first 20 mins of each session/individual innings are the key - once through that it's relatively comfortable. |
By:
you will get a panic if eng start well, yesterday they reached 14-0 & went from 4.3 into 3.2,crazy
By:
sri lanka - £553
england + £662 draw comical green any chance of a cyclone blowing through ? |
By:
since the bell wicket the market has moved around a tick a run, prob the same to 1.7(20 runs) then 2 ticks for every run up to evens as panic sets in.
By:
think u will be ok WS england should go favs imo at some point but dont think they will win though

By:
all depends on these 2 PTTT
50 run partnership from here sees England odds on wicket before then then could be a long wait |
By:
Still balls deep on sl. Nervous.
By:
30 runs will be pkm, 40 runs the flip, 50 runs england will be 1.6 ish without a wkt
By:
ticking it over nicely
By:
Need a wicket
