I agree, it is a darn stupid rule, but I somehow got all red in that match, so to see the most unlikly event of a 3 being scored off the last ball was good for me. I had all green on a tied match before and got nowt, it is a very very very silly rule.

Used to be. But the big players demanded a seperate tie market from what I hear, and it became that way due to that. This result worked in my favour with a bookie bet paying out half, but still, 15 mil traded over 9 hours to be declared void? Just seems like it will piss a lot more people off than taking the tie market. Each to their own. Not like we don't know it is this way. We choose to not bet the tie, that is on us.

Bookies offer dead heat settlement to ensure that they make money out of the game with their margins. BF have to have some concessions to the big players, otherwise there is FA liquidity and we are back to betting with regular bookmakers. Their rules are transparent and while it's unfortunate for some in cases like this, it is still fair.
