Ha, fair play!
I only logged on to see how much of a pasting Adam Scott was receiving for suffocating while playing golf. I haven't been trading for a couple of years mate. The late nights got too much. |

In fairness Max, they have put in a number of atrocious performances that, if my motivation was such, I could have passed comment on. The Pakistan series comes to mind.
Solid unit overall though. |

first series in awhile that the poms haven't lost a test match by an innings

Wasn't there a series against the West Indies about 7/8 weeks ago? No innings defeat there. Mong!

indeed not seen this old friend for a while. perhaps his finest moment on this tour with the 180 setting up final day win in joburg
screaming, never mind that. is it finally gonna be our year ? would be such a fitting send off |
|
By:
If we can't do it from this position - 13 points clear at half way - we frankly never will.
But the top order batting is awful. To his credit, Trescothick has recognized that he's been part of the problem. But he's still a tip-top fielder in the slips and at short leg, and he IS Marcus Trescothick. Meanwhile Azhar Ali is stealing a living as overseas player, and just waddles around the field, out of breath and dropping catches. It's a travesty that he's not also at Taunton Vale with the seconds. The likes of Byrom, Lammonby and Bess could hardly do any worse with the bat. |
|
By:
yep only young george bartlett has had a good season so far in the top 6. 2 or 3 times we've been bailed out by the bowlers. can't keep getting away with batting as badly surely
must win game really this week against hants still minus vince and dawson |

20th birthday later in the year!
