Nice that she had the time and energy to do this rather than compete in 100m hurldes.
too right hans - after all she'd only just completed the most physically and emotionally draining heptathlons in her life, it was def worth her going for that silver medal!
Exactly all the pressure would have been off her just like Mo Farah and his gold in the 10,000m before the 5,000m.
The Aussie who won the hurdles would have shat herself and bottled it with Ennis competing and the crowd behind her - missed medal almost certainly.
If Daley Thompson can compete in sprint relays in major championships after 10 events, hardly think an elite athlete can whinge after a heptathlon.
