Think he was very lucky, but congratulations to Joshua
A lot of home decisions this tournement |
By:
Won it

Disgusting in all honesty. Feel sorry for the Italian
By:
very, very dodgy decision. well done to him though
By:
There's worse judges on ere than in the fights..
By:
thought the italian had done enough
By:
this all feels very empty to me. bit of uncomfortable viewing
By:
didn't think he won it myself but it's gold to GB, no more biased than if it were in Italy

If the bout had been in Cagliari the Italian would have won,so fair decision.
Ave it seethers. |
By:
he has had two home town decisions

Stop talking through your anus Mullah..

I aint seething as NO bet. However was a home decision. Happens in boxing both Amateur and Pro.
By:
What?
I love watching Joshua will be a future star and I wanted him to win. But that was a sickening decision and brings the whole olympics into disrepute. |
By:
I watch that with the sound off.....thought the Italian won that. I don't like to see GB win Gold medals like that.

Hey gresty do you live in a cave

Rubbish. The Italian was spent in the last and the only one throwing punches was Joshua. No way he was 3 down after the second either.
By:
been loads of wrong decisions this tournament I'm sorry to say
By:
Common sense at last Mr EE
By:
There has Rick, that just wasn't one of them..
By:
I didnt think Josh had it there. I dont buy the "if it was in italy..." argument either. Where are the judges from? We can't be accused of being dodgy if they're not all british.
By:
But that was a sickening decision and brings the whole olympics into disrepute.
Tiny exaggeration I would have thought. Thought Cammarelle was never 2pts better than Joshua in Rd2, thought Joshua was never 3pts better than Cammarelle in Rd3. Most of all 18-18??? Missed half of the supposed 36 scoring shots at least! |
By:
for me joshua landed some good solid shots when upped the tempo towards the end, but he had been out boxed for most of the fight
I'm glad he got the medal but think it should have gone to the eyetie |
By:
Inept? Yes. Dodgy? No. Evens itself out in the long run, doesn't it, they say?
By:
About time we had a decision go for us.
Don't remember you lot up in arms when our rowers were put in the wrong lane. |
By:
Look Mullah. it was scored 18 a piece, very close, which it was, but to say the judges were the only people in the world to think the Brit won it is rather silly, don't you think ?
And it looks like they have removed your post as well... |
By:
But that was a sickening decision and brings the whole olympics into disrepute.
No hyperbole there,much ![]() |

Appeal lodged

By:
the three wise men....
By:
Good luck to them with that. Tony will get it by 2 on the recount..
By:
feck me! about time we had a decision go for US?
sheesh both Agogo and Joshua had extremely dodgy decisions in their favour Joshua extremely lucky to get a medal imo, I had the cuban a clear winner against him and agogo never beat that ukraine boxer |

The scoring of the 2nd round needs to be looked at, how the italian was given that by 2 points is unbelievable ,I would say the italian 1 ahead going 3rd,and has been completley outboxed in the last ,he can appeal as much as he likes ,he didnt win
By:
Dont ask Lennox any questions regarding the scoring system ffs...
By:
Rick you can't hold previous decisions against him. He won this fight, IMHO..

Seething in Squinzano
Apoplectic in Ajaccio Incandescent in Imola |
