She was 5th fastest in the time trial, noticeably slower than Buchanan in the semis.  She could have got a medal but then Buchanan and Pottier both could have based on the semis form and missed out as well. 
I don't like her but I don't think you can be too critical, Pajon deserves massive credit for getting out the gates so quickly every time
