all went ok until the final, had a bad start, never got into the race finished 6th
until then she seemed a likely medalist |

even more surprising was the ozzie girl caroline buchanan who seemed to have reade's measure in the earlier rounds and she finished nowhere too

She was 5th fastest in the time trial, noticeably slower than Buchanan in the semis. She could have got a medal but then Buchanan and Pottier both could have based on the semis form and missed out as well.
I don't like her but I don't think you can be too critical, Pajon deserves massive credit for getting out the gates so quickly every time |

it's all about recovery and she had not recovered from the 3 semis in time for the final
