Steve Cram not blaming Gemili

He started his run before the Jamaican miles ahead of him ffs
Report Mr Eboue August 10, 2012 7:49 PM BST
Gemili looked at fault to me.

He knows it aswell.
Report upthebumnobabies August 10, 2012 7:50 PM BST
I layed GB to finish in top 3 at 1.26. Does DQ count? He finished 2nd.
Report Yorkshire Terrier August 10, 2012 7:50 PM BST
And waving his arm about like a windmill.
Report guinness2dear August 10, 2012 7:50 PM BST

Report Poppydog. August 10, 2012 7:50 PM BST
Watch the replay. He's off before the Jamaican in lane 5
Report Trainy August 10, 2012 7:50 PM BST
WHAT ARE THE RULES ON DQ
Report judorick August 10, 2012 7:51 PM BST

Report DonNo1 August 10, 2012 7:51 PM BST
Defies belief how hard it seems to be to get a bloody baton round, idiots
Report guinness2dear August 10, 2012 7:52 PM BST
If you're a Brit you get disq, in one way or another
Report elise August 10, 2012 7:52 PM BST
you're fecked if you backed them is the only rule you need
Report Yorkshire Terrier August 10, 2012 7:52 PM BST
Still, they are proud so that's OK.
Report book August 10, 2012 7:52 PM BST
clown wanted over 6000 at 1.03 that beggars belief, blatantly outside the box.
Report elise August 10, 2012 7:53 PM BST
he ran out of his lane too just for good measure
Report upthebumnobabies August 10, 2012 7:53 PM BST
BF have paid out laying GB to finish in top 3. Luckily Cool
Report book August 10, 2012 7:54 PM BST
obviously,they were disqualified
Report TheVis August 10, 2012 7:54 PM BST
Can't believe Chambers is saying how proud he is of the lads.  There is zero to be proud of there by not doing the most basic of skills correctly.  What else do they have to practice for in the relay apart from getting the changeovers spot on?  Funny how Jamaica never **** it up
Report TheVis August 10, 2012 7:55 PM BST
upthebum there is nothing lucky about that.  A dq is a dq and that was as blatant a one as you could see. He also ran out of his lane.
Report alun2005 August 10, 2012 7:55 PM BST
How many times has this happened now with GB 4x100m lads?

Must be at least 10 in my lifetime.
Report Yorkshire Terrier August 10, 2012 7:57 PM BST
Thank **** Health and Safety put a stop to the egg and spoon race.
Report upthebumnobabies August 10, 2012 7:58 PM BST
Understood, but they also have the ability to chop and change their T&C's on occasion. Which I've found out before to my detriment.

Laying them at 1.26 was a steal IMO given their history and inexperience.
Report ReaseHeath August 10, 2012 7:59 PM BST
who is coaching the sprint relay squad?
Report Musik August 10, 2012 8:00 PM BST
our Women are even worse. LaughLaugh Girl ran outside her lane in a qualifier
Report Musik August 10, 2012 8:00 PM BST
@ European champs
Report mafeking August 10, 2012 8:00 PM BST
ironically about the only time they've ever got it right they ended up winning it cos the americans fecked up a change over

The Edward bit is made up btw
Report Yorkshire Terrier August 10, 2012 8:24 PM BST
Surely Daley could have run all four legs in different styles ?
Report alun2005 August 10, 2012 8:26 PM BST
I'm still trying to get Capes to come to our annual village fete.  There's nothing we'd like better than to see the Great Man tear a Shetland Pony in two with his bare hands while the blood simple crowd scream 'CAPES ! CAPES ! CAPES !

One day I'll up the offer from 5 shillings to around 7/6.
Report alun2005 August 10, 2012 8:28 PM BST
Lads, I missed the Jo Pavey race. How far did Pavey win by?  World Record???
Report Poppydog. August 10, 2012 8:28 PM BST
British relay teams now have a 100% failure rate in championship sprint relays this year.

At the Europeans in Helsinki, the men did not finish and the women were disqualified;
at the World Juniors, the men were disqualified and the women didn't finish,
and at the Olympics, the men have now been disqualified. The women didn't qualify after being disqualified at the Europeans.

Someone needs to be sacked or resign surely
Report Yorkshire Terrier August 10, 2012 8:29 PM BST
Ha Ha - but I'm sure Capes could run the 100m in about 12 seconds.
Report Yorkshire Terrier August 10, 2012 8:33 PM BST
Pavey and Bleasdale finished an excellent 7th and 8th respectively.
Report alun2005 August 10, 2012 8:40 PM BST

Jonathan 'Sunday' Edwards has just said "Steve Lewis has bought his breast form" to the pole vault.

Amused me...
Report alun2005 August 10, 2012 8:50 PM BST
If ONLY the programme planners had moved Songs of Praise to a Wednesday midweek slot, then none of this horror might have happened.
Report posy August 10, 2012 9:15 PM BST
I seem to remember that when Capes was in his prime Dewhurst the butcher gave him free meat ;as much as he wanted
