Of all the arguments you could use to illustrate your point you choose prob the only one that right wingers use that is palpable nonsense. You could have said slavery had been going on on much the same scale within Africa for centuries, you could have said it was mainly run by Muslims, you could have said that Empires were founded in Africa that were practically based on the slave economy (Songhai) but no you used a fact that is proved by numerous documents (ships logs/ledgers, many personal accounts, company records etc etc etc) as your basis. That's the problem with right wing idiots they aren't aware of anybody else's history let alone their own!
