can they not appeal that result .the ukr boxer has not won a round imo if he has not won a round how can he win fight on count back ?

I have been watching the whole thing (olympics) and am now feeling sick of lots of aspects

1. convinced there is massive doping going on in cycling, weight lifting, swimming and athletics ( did you see the winner of 'womens shot putt'? feck me that was a man)

2. corrupt officials in particular in boxing - seen a dozen dodgy scores and loads of ridiculous refs

3. elitist sports that only the mega rich can compete in and technology based sport

its very difficult to score a fight , if you watch one fighter you cant watch the other
for every punch without a replay, some of the punches are just too quick

the old system seemed to favour big ponderous punches , whereas , as previously stated, the new system lets the judges do as they see fit

boxing has always had some poor decisions, not really sure there is a perfect system

it's not the scoring system that's the problem

it's the fixing of results by judges

it is quite apparent that they have already chosen the winner before the first bell in many cases including in the fight between the french and ukrainian boxers - the french boy clearly won and the body language of the two fighters revealed exactly what they thought

was totally fixed

it wouldnt surprise me if the odd fight was fixed

i guess they'll watch the "winner" next time out .....
