seems odd - he seemed finished 5 years ago lol
Report djwebby • August 6, 2012 8:49 PM BST
Does seem strange but hey ho.
Report KIMBLE • August 6, 2012 8:50 PM BST

Report Sir Denis Eton-Hogg • August 6, 2012 8:51 PM BST
i wish i knew what this mythical 'juice' was lol
Report The Graduate • August 6, 2012 8:51 PM BST
Culson was a metre or 2 up until he walloped one
Report Glossy • August 6, 2012 8:52 PM BST
It's the stuff the Gummi bears drank.
Report judorick • August 6, 2012 8:52 PM BST

Report jay..b# • August 6, 2012 8:52 PM BST
odds on to fail a drugs test
Report DonNo1 • August 6, 2012 8:53 PM BST
What odds you fancy?
Report pumpkinslayertoo • August 6, 2012 8:54 PM BST
Drugs test for you tipping angelo Taylor I think! You on the crack pipe?
Report Darlo Bantam • August 6, 2012 8:55 PM BST
Funny how these supposed "finished" athletes peak for big championships like the Olympics. It's almost like they mean something!
Report Sir Denis Eton-Hogg • August 6, 2012 8:58 PM BST
u wudda thought they could peak for yearly events ffs!!
Report ThunderRoad • August 6, 2012 8:59 PM BST
Sanchez ran an absolute blinder over the 400 metre flat very early in the season.

There's nothing odd at all.
Report The Graduate • August 6, 2012 9:01 PM BST
@owning: you're playing with fire by backing those 1.04 shots. If you stay lucky you will essentially have had an even money winner by the end of the olympics.
Report Sir Denis Eton-Hogg • August 6, 2012 9:02 PM BST
u gotta be nuts betting a 1/20 shot in a hurdle race!!
Report seahawk • August 6, 2012 9:02 PM BST
HRE , if you think Sanchez is all juiced up , you are right .

Now , if you think that any of the other 7 participants is clean , then you are really a dumb feck .

Congrats , your man didn't come last , you are improving .
Report Sir Denis Eton-Hogg • August 6, 2012 9:08 PM BST
pray tell - what is this 'juice' u speak of?
Report frames • August 6, 2012 9:12 PM BST
I think Owning should start a Schalke challenge , he bets very similar.
Report Glossy • August 6, 2012 9:27 PM BST
Great reaction from a great champion. Well done that man. That emotion is not that of someone who has won the event through anything other than total dedication.
Report dc • August 6, 2012 9:33 PM BST
Emotion??? Looked fake as hell to me.
That fella is hiding something imo.
Report Glossy • August 6, 2012 9:34 PM BST
I put it to you that you aren't a very good judge of emotion!
Report incaseof • August 6, 2012 9:35 PM BST
Sanchez is a legend ffs Devil

pretty much spot on, I'm up 90% of initial bank for olympics

Report Sir Denis Eton-Hogg • August 6, 2012 9:42 PM BST
sanchez must be one of the oldest if not THE oldest gold medal winner in a sprint-type running event
Report owning • August 6, 2012 9:44 PM BST
i build it up using this way of backing low odds and i know that i am bound to get caught with some bets, as I already had, but im still winning more than 95% of my bets so its alright I guess. Also, I am preserving my capital + a bit of profits now so I'm not doing some all in on low ods every bet, if I lose one, i regroup and am still in profit!
Report Glossy • August 6, 2012 9:47 PM BST
What a load of gobbledeegoop tosh.
Report Darlo Bantam • August 6, 2012 9:54 PM BST
Surprised nobody's mentioned anything about today's failed drugs test on here yet. Unless, I've missed it anyway.
Report mrSmurf • August 6, 2012 9:59 PM BST
why would he risk taking drugs eight years after he won the olympics? risk far outways the gain......
Report PHILthePOWER • August 6, 2012 10:01 PM BST
hmmmm, you's were not saying the same thing when the brit won the long jump, and was never expected to be a contender
Report The Graduate • August 6, 2012 10:05 PM BST
Sanchez has done it all before though. This is not comparable to a relative unknown chopping chunks of their PB to win on the big day.

@ owning: That sort of betting, and the high strike rate can boost your confidence alright but one thing you cannot do with it is 'preserve' your 'capital'.
Well done on doubling your bank though.
Report JOCI Club • August 6, 2012 10:06 PM BST
Fantastic interview afterwards, when Sanchez said that he knew he could rule out Angelo Taylor after checking Betfair on his mobile minutes before the off to find that HorseRacingExpert had napped him with a double max bet!

Laughed when he followed that up with.."the only thing that would have been better would have been if he'd done a maximum lay of me".

Quality.
Report Charlton2005 • August 6, 2012 10:20 PM BST
good stuff joci

picture of his dead grandmother inside his vest - what more do you need?
Report Darlo Bantam • August 6, 2012 10:24 PM BST
And there are people saying the emotion is faked.
