don't understand the odds, if she's 1.48 to win gold, why is she so high at 1.19 for top 3?

Between 1.48 gold and 1.19 gold, silver or bronze, the latter definitely shouts value for me

A couple of times in the past she's tried entering the competition at 4.70m and not cleared it and finished last (did it at a recent Diamond League I think). I'm guessing that's the issue that is being factored in- a kind of win or bust type approach!

points taken, finished 6th as a result. that explains the odds, its like weightlifting where favs, after falling behind go for broke, gold or nothing mentality but I'm still taking the 1.2 on offer for top 3

the Czech has Gold for best bum wrapped up imo Seemed a bit too pleased with 4.30 to suggest likely to feature in the medals though

She's not been dominant on the Diamond League circuit this season and the odds don't look right to me.  Even money shot here, but I've had a bet on Jenny Suhr who is in good form and jumped over 4.80 last month.  Big price.
