NBC only showing a delayed broadcast 5hrs after the event .While Bolt was running they were actually showing Olympics........ a repeat of the Equestrian Event
Seemingly due to wanting it on at primetime for Advertisers. Shown live on their website but that buffered halfway through the race

NBC have been taking constant criticism from things I keep reading.
NBC also failed the many who hoped to catch the event live on the Internet. Probably due to too many people jumping on at once, the live stream began buffering in the middle of the historic race.
As always, people took to Twitter to gripe. A sample:
@ZackMast: Usain Bolt outruns the NBC live stream's buffer!
@bshelley24: Thanks, NBC. Who wanted a working stream for Usain Bolt anyway?
@GentryEstes247: A buffering live stream doesn't mix w/ 100 meters. Basically missed the race. Thanks NBC. You could have shown it live, but this was better.

@whitenetinvt: NBC live stream completely failed to keep up with the men's 100M. Usain Bolt is faster than the internet.

I did suggest to all my american contacts that they use a proxy IP address in the UK and then watched on the BBC
