Look out for Cavic tomorrow in the 100m Butterfly final. Phelps looked very good in his heat and will likely prove too much for both Cavic and Le Clos but the odds for Cavic are overreacting to the semi final times imo. Cavic eased off a lot in the final 50m. Had the best first 100m split and he talked about saving energy before the semi. Will read his quotes tonight and see what he says but I got a feeling he is holding back a lot as opposed to simply not having enough in him.
Podium or w/o Phelps might offer value. |

He looked like he didn't have enough to me, hmmm but gotta agree that he came out flying from the blocks, in the finals he will give his all, so will do better than teh semis imo

Very tough to tell unless you are a swim instructor/expert to know if he relaxed or simply tired.
Guess that's why they call this gambling! lol Good odds though on podium finish and w/o in the 4's now. A nibble in the 30's for the outright is too good to pass up also. Time will tell. |
