asafa powell pulled up , and ran over 10 secs
By:
took a rubbish 1.35 on bolt last second, had some 1.15 on Blake top 3...this went perfectly to the form book.
By:
oh ok sorry...Id backed 6 or more under so still ok. Was going with what the comm said.
By:
yep , backed Bolt to win and no WR , BOOM
By:
had powell not pulled up they would have ALL gone under 10 secs

you can't just say that someone gets a blistering start they could go low sub 9.65 |
By:
what? I backed 6 and over to run under 10 seconds, is that winner or loser?
By:
winner Gimp , will take a while to settle
By:
have to wait until the ceremony for BF to settle , then if DQ after the ceremony, no worries , scene ?

yes, no WR tonight he will do that in a Grand Prix in Monaco or somewhere when he is for £150K for doing so I'll go 9.63 ![]() |
By:
Bolt wasn't a perfect start. And he wasn't holding anything back!
By:
7 ran under 10 secs so you should be a winner
By:
sorry confusing posts. I expect it'll take a while. skeen, I think I won all 5 bets..apart from the Bolt/Gatlin cover bet
By:
ALL BF markets for this event won't be settled till the ceremony ...think its tonite , I hope so anyways
By:
ok gimp ?
By:
cheers nicky, no rush for me, got plenty more in the account to get through

By:
making sure he didn't get DQ'd at the start , could have broke the WR if he predicted the gun correctly , however , one false start and ur out
By:
i got it spot on and no fecker congrats me

yep , well done judorick...i predicted 9.64 and it got changed

By:
Well done judorick
![]() Are you seriously suggesting he tried to preserve the WR ![]() |
By:
nice judo
too busy in my own world. |
By:
Possibly because you are an abusive fool?
Only a guess mind. |
By:
he could have shaved what? 6 ticks off that time if he'd predicted the gun , but the new rule is ONE false start and ur OUT , so he didn't want to take the risk i guess
By:
6 ticks off 9.63 would have been the WR
By:
and ur right , expect that WR to not last too long
By:
will be gunning for it in the post games meets
cheers, ended up lumping on the no WR at 1.49 ave |
By:
'I dont think it was the best start in the world'
No that was Powell, good guess Bolt. |
By:
200 wr to go 3-1
has to be worth it seeing that |
By:
nice call on the 1.63 judorick.
Was a lot closer than i'd have liked having lumped 2k (a big un for me) at 1.5. Beers tasted good tonight. Had begun to doubt myself but let my logical head rule. I don't see 1.58 being beaten for a long time. |
By:
nice bet brother
but I do think Bolt will smash the record this summer, on a hot night somewhere in Europe, on a fast track where he won't be bothered about false starting... he will storm out of the blocks and do it |

200 wr to go 3-1 has to be worth it seeing that who is that with? I expect 2 of them to beat it!! @dc you dont see 1.58 being beaten for a long time? ![]() Will be gone with 12months imvho |
By:
Bolt is literally the only one who can even dream of doing it and he peaked in 2009 imo. Would you back even money WR to go within 12 months?
By:
will go this summer
he had the slowest reaction time in the final (to be sure not to false start) and the temperature was 17 C when he anticipates the gun on a hot evening he will find the 0.07s he needs... easily WR this summer, mark miwordz |
By:
Nope dont see it going post Olympics but I see your logic, just dont see the outcome you anticipate.
By:
Zazu, it was on here last night after 100 final
I took 5's on fri when it was clear the track was quick Blake ran 19.25 on a bad night in belgium so i expect him to push bolt all the way |
By:
listen he will be on for £100K bonuses for breaking the WR
he is clearly in shape as 9.63 says and the conditions were far from ideal hot night, following wind, fast start and maximum effort = SMASH the WR he has probably already planned the 2 or 3 meets where he will have a go at it only needs drop 0.06 from his Olympic final time - he can do that with a better start (reaction time) 1.1 a new WR this summer, mark miwordz |

DC was spot on with his great analysis last night.
'With fear of false starts greater than ever, none of the favs will risk "beating the gun". Even if they do cut it fine, a "blistering start" shaves at the very most 0.03 off your time. That's about a foot. I'm not saying the record is unachievable. But the price is crazy wrong.' Bolt admitted he could not afford to take a risk. Would have been very close to a WR if he did. Well done DC look forward to further analysis. |
