Mark Cavendish feels 'abused' by HTC-Columbia team

Why would they not offer their best cyclist a new contract? Could just be stalling due to pay because Cavendish is on a reported 1million plus a year and that was signed before he started winning every single sprint stage!

why do you say Cavendish is their best rider?...Is it because you  see Cavendish win stage wins at the Tour de france and think that make him Number 1 in the team?

Cavendish is just a sprinter,....He can not win overall tour event...plus it look like Mark need a big team to help him get the stage wins (you see the big Team Columbia train at the tour de france bring Mark to the line) so this mean there less riders in Team Columbia who can win Tour events or help other rider win tour events

The whole team is built around him to get him stage wins so he is obv their key/best cyclist. He's not going for overal winner but only Contador and Schleck realistically are so unless they are gonna pat a fortune gettign them then gtd stage wins with Cavendish seem better.

Ah Colombia are withdrawing their sponsorship so nthey have trouble financing his 1million+ contract

for a guy who has a whole team around him, he can't finsh as the number 1 rank rider in that team the last 3 year..maybe that why there going broke

How is he not the number one? Is job is to win sprints. He wins sprints.

he not ranked number 1 by UCI ranking for Team Columbia so far in 2010  (2nd in Team Columbia)  and also 2nd in 2009 for Team Columbia

Cavendish is ranked 22 overall in 2010 rankings

I like to see just how good Cavendish, if he was in a team with less support...could Cavendish find he way to the finsih line with out a big train pulling him there...I guess we find out soon
